An odd scent had stirred her from her sleep.  Yellow eyes snapping open sharply, and pointed ears twitching.  Both trying to figure out what was going on.  She moved from the bed quietly, her blue gown flowing across her body as she moved.  Nearing a window, her eyes widened as she spotted the source of the smell.  A fire coated part of the forest floor below.  A growl escaped her lips as she spun, rushing toward a nearby cabinet and throwing on a green, filigree embroidered, robe over her gown.  She grabbed a staff that had been leaning against the wall near her bed and looked toward the window, jumping out of it swiftly.  “Awaken my child.”  a voice echoed inside of Alexis’s head.  Alexis opened her eyes slowly, not seeing anything.  She looked around, seeing a woman sitting, cross legged, a few feet away.  She had the face of a young woman, framed in a dark brown hair.  She wore a covering of leaves and twigs.  “Where… Where am I?”  Alexis asked.  Her voice sounded distant and quiet. “You are in my realm child.  I am Mother Gaia.  You have been truly connected to my nature, through that wound you acquired.” Gaia replied.   “You mean the scratches that the Werewolf left?”  Alexis asked.  “How is that

 Alexis sighed and stepped into the forest.   She felt an odd… presence nearby.  As if something… someone… was guiding her.  She stopped a looked around,  she knew where she was going, why did she feel so unsure?  She gasped slightly when she heard something… someone… moving through the brush near her.  She kept walking, looking back every few steps.  She heard a growling from in front of her, but as she turned to look, the growling got louder, and started surrounding her.  Soon, four shadowy figures stood around her, all glaring at her.  “This is not a safe place for you, girl.”  Came one of the voices. &
